Hannah & Nick A Winston Salem Wedding Story

We are so excited to share this wedding!! Hannah and Nick were a dream couple!  They are one of the kindest and most sincere couples we have worked with and their love for each other is almost palpable!  We first realized this with their gorgeous engagement session (if you missed it- check it out here) and after that we were in love and could not wait for their wedding!

Hannah and Nick's relationship started in Winston Salem and so much of their dating history involved the downtown Winston Salem area- it was only appropriate that they were married at the Old Brookstown Inn in Winston Salem, NC.  Family and history were so important to Hannah and Nick.  Hannah's Dress was almost 70 years old and was her grandmother's dress which was restored and altered beautifully for Hannah (by Just Sew by Renee).  The dress was just perfect for Hannah and she looked radiant all day long.  The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard of Brookstown Inn on a gorgeous (and somewhat chilly) Spring Day.  We moved to the reception without a true plan.  Hannah and Nick wanted to concentrate their time on being present with their friends and family and worry to much about the traditional wedding events.  Watching Hannah and Nick interact with their guests you could tell what a special couple they were and this was only reinforced with the toasts where each person had so many wonderful things to say about these two.  And though unplanned- the rest of the reception included a first dance and a cake cutting and was just as perfect as the rest of the day.
