Hi, friends. I’m Lauren. I’ve followed my dreams, and the result is a crazy life filled with adventure, love, and the fun of creating portraits to capture those warm and wonderful feelings you always want to remember. 

I know there are so many beautiful memories that you wish you could snatch out of time and hold in your hands. That’s why I do what I do. I love to help friends capture their dearest memories—from newborn images to childhood milestones to family portraits and pictures of their four legged best friends.

I’ve discovered that happiness is not the goal; it’s the by-product of a life directed by joy, following your dreams, and simple living. One of the things that give me great joy is photographing the story you want to tell. The richest memories—snuggling a sweet newborn, fleeting glimpses of childhood, and special portraits—are chapters in your story. Tell me what’s most important to you, and I’ll do my best. 

Some of the most beautiful portraits are taken outdoors. I can suggest a variety of settings, or if you have favorite location, let me know. I’ll do my best to accommodate you. 

A little more about me? After graduating from Appalachian State University and spending a few years in the workforce, I finally listened to my creative heart and went to photography school. There I met the love of my life, married him on 1.1.11 and after spending several years living in our tiny home on wheels we have settled down in Winston Salem with our five rescue pups!
